Fall Favorites

Happy Sunday!!

I just thought since October is almost over and I am really hoping there is some more fall left I would share some of my favourite fall things! :)

Pumpkin spice lattes are my FAVORITE ever! I am always waiting for this to come out when September hits! It is the perfect fall drink!

Pumpkin Pie!! Just a little hint: lots of things on this list has to do with pumpkin!

Thanksgiving!!! One of my favourite holidays because all we do is eat :)

New riding boots from Aldo that I love!!

New Valentino Rain boots that just makes you wish it rained every day!

Fabulously decorated pumpkins!

Colorful leaves on the ground everywhere, and unlike home it actually isn't ridiculously windy so the leaves stay on the ground! Its so comforting!

Scarves!! Throw one on with every outfit and make it perfectly fall appropriate! I love!!

Ribs

HOLA!!

First off, I'm sorry it has all been food posts lately! I am just loving food slightly more than clothes this week! LOL

Second off, last night, I made crock pot ribs and they were pretty decent!

I pretty much just threw everything in the crock pot... Maui Rib Sauce, Teriyaki Sauce, Ketchup, Mustard, Worcestershire, Brown sugar and a ton of spices. Usually I always put BBQ sauce but we didn't have any! They still turned out pretty good anyways!

Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Bonjour!!

Two nights ago I made "pretzel strawberry salad". I have never made it before and it was pretty good! The only thing was that the jello kinda seeped through the cream cheese/cool whip layer and made the pretzel crust slightly soggy!

Vegetable Shrimp Pesto Pasta

Hi friends,

The other night it was cool outside and I was in the mood for comfort food so I whipped up some veggie shrimp pesto pasta! It was sooo good!!!!

It was really simple! I started off by sauteeing half an onion, and then added some garlic in olive oil and pesto. I then added some peppers, mushrooms and then the shrimp, along with more pesto! Once the shrimp were cooked I added some spinach. Top with some more pesto and VOILA!

Onesies!!

So the other day I came home to a package... My boyfriend ordered us onesie footie pjs!! They are so goofy and cozy! I love mine sooo much! I have worn it to sleep the past couple nights and it has seriously kept me so warm and almost made my head cold thing go away!

I might have to get one in every color :)

Date night

Heeeeey guuuyyyyssssssss,

Last night, my very handsome boyfriend took me out for supper! We went to a place called Caribou Restaurant + Wine Bar. It was delicious!!! I didn't take a picture of my outfit, but I wore a shirt I had already posted previously, with jeans and red heels!

We had tostado's for an appetizer, they were really good. Then I got the Korean BBQ Duck with egg fried rice. It was fabulous!!! After that, we shared the peanut butter cheese cake for desert! It was also sooo good!!!

ABC Party

Hey friends,

On thursday we went to an ABC ( anything but clothes ) party at at bar! It was a really good time and I spent all day freaking out about what to wear! I had no idea. But after thinking all day I came up with a TWISTER MAT!!! There was actually only one other one at the party so I'm pretty happy with my creative thinking!

It was surprisingly really easy. All I did was fold the mat in half, and twist the top a little bit and folded it! I used the belt and some tape to keep it in place and it stayed the whole night. It did get really sweaty though on my stomach and it felt pretty amazing to take it off!

If you ever do this, wear shorts underneath, and maybe even a top too, so it doesn't get so sweaty!

Creepy October

On Wednesday October 12, 2011 it was one of the coolest days ever!

All of my favourite elements of fall were around, and it literally felt like someone was watching over me, making my day perfect. 

It was foggy ALL day, with a little bit of misty rain throughout. It was creepy and mysterious, and I loved it. It was also a little brisk outside, with leaves all on the ground. Perfect fall day. 

I seriously love fall so much. I wish it was longer!

The best chocolate chip cookies!!

The other day, I made chocolate chip cookie and they were DELICIOUS!!! Literally some of the best I have ever eaten! There are no more left, so I think that's a good sign! 

I got the recipe online HERE. 

I used butter instead of shortening, and semi sweet chocolate chips instead of milk. I also baked them for about 9 minutes and they were nice and chewy!!! Yummy!

Minestrone Soup

Last week I made Minestrone Soup. I had never made it before, but it turned out to be pretty good! 

I got the recipe online HERE. I used a whole package of bacon, and did it in a crock pot. I used crushed tomatoes and omitted the beans. 

Very good!!

Pumpkin Pie

Hey guys!

So last weekend was thanksgiving, and Josh and I went to a huge pot luck with about 30 people! I made pumpkin pie, and if I do say so myself, it was pretty delicious!!

I bought frozen pie shells and pure pumpkin in a can. There was a recipe on the inside of the label of the pumpkin, which is what I used. It turned out to be really flavourful and yummy!!

Alright I know, I know, I have been majorly slacking! But I have good excuses... being super busy with school!!

Today i'm going to post a look from a while ago, it was slightly chilly that day and I was about to head home on a 4 hour flight. I look pretty silly in the picture, because I was literally running out the door. Excuse the silliness. :)
